We’re currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly team, supporting our Manager in providing the highest level of residential care for our residents.

As our Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting our Manager in providing a home for our residents which promotes a caring environment through high standards of professional practice.

You’ll also stand-in for the Manager in their absence; deputising to ensure management cover is provided over a 7 day period. In addition to ensuring the personal care needs of residents in they are met a way which promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing our team, and assisting the Manager in the appraisal, supervision and assignment of staff.

Candidates must have at least 1 years’ experience in the management of people, and a SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care Award or equivalent. An SVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care and Management Award, or a willingness to work towards this on completion of a successful probationary period, would be beneficial. A satisfactory DBS check also applies to this position.

This position is for 40 hours per week and the successful candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required, with on-call responsibilities.
